Octavie's and Artem's duo recital is their long-awaited first dip in the warm, sensuous waters of the high Romantic, with first Stonington performances of rare, touching scores. Our summertime seaside resident, the 1886 Chickering concert grand, will make its second Music Matters appearance. It's an extraordinary 19th-century original, a 132 year-old time capsule. Edvard Grieg and Franz Liszt were among the pianist-composers who wrote glowingly about this model of concert grand.
