Pawcatuck Remembers is a student-developed art exhibition and book project capturing snapshots and stories of a school where students found connections with caring educators in a true neighborhood school since 1939.
Join us for our November-December exhibition openings on:
Friday, November 8, from 5-7 p.m. (Remarks and Short Video at 5:45 p.m.)
Saturday, November 9, from 2-4 p.m. (Remarks and Short Video at 2:45 p.m.)
Wine, soft drinks, nibbles, and cookies provided, including the infamous cafeteria “Candy Cookies” from the 1970’s.
Share your own memories on a corkboard (post-it notes and markers provided).
Take home your own free copy of the student-developed book Pawcatuck Students Remember.
Free and open to the public.
The exhibition may also be viewed through December 15 at times when La Grua Center is open; please call ahead for times at 860-535-2300. The video will be available on La Grua Center’s YouTube channel.
