Strategic Plan

La Grua Center completed a five-year Strategic Plan in June 2020. The planning process was supported in part by the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut and the Montauk Foundation.

Our Strategic Goals and Strategies (2020-25)

Goal 1: Pursue Excellence and Diversity in Programming

This is the core of what we do and how we have attracted and inspired our audience. This section focuses on continuing to elevate our programming and to make it more accessible to a wider and more diverse audience.

Goal 2: Connect, Engage, and Strengthen Community

Winifred La Grua’s gift of the center sprang from her lifelong commitment to the economically diverse community in which she lived. The importance of continuing her commitment and growing and connecting with our communities is woven into our fabric. The focus of this section is to strengthen, diversify, and engage the communities we serve.

Goal 3: Ensure La Grua’s Financial Vitality and Sustainability

Every organization needs to ensure their continued financial health and vitality. This allows us to continue to perform our mission. The focus of this section of the plan is to maintain and improve the financial health through income growth and diversification, financial management, and staff development.
