Art Lab: Adult Mosaic Tile Making Workshop

In this hands-on, single-session workshop with Paul Halferty of Lilywork Artisinal Tile in Old Lyme, you’ll learn the ancient art of mosaic-making!

Over three hours, you’ll design and assemble a 12″ x 12″ mosaic — perfect for hanging on the wall or using as a one-of-a-kind trivet. Whether you follow a guided pattern or let your imagination run loose, you’ll leave with a finished piece you actually made with your hands.

What to expect:

A relaxed, creative atmosphere

Step-by-step guidance from start to finish

A finished mosaic ready to take home

This is a great way to slow down, get a little messy, and discover that making beautiful things doesn’t require a background in art — just a willingness to play!
