Concert on the Green: Ed Fast & Conga Bop Supertet!
Event Details
We’re excited to open this year’s Concerts on the Green series with perennial favorite, this time accompanied by the Congabop Supertet! This group features Afro-Cuban influenced rhythms and hard-bop harmony fused to create unique, soulful originals and creatively arranged jazz standards. The repertoire reflects a tribute to the genre’s most celebrated practitioners including Cal Tjader, Tito Puente, and Hilton Ruiz. Bring a blanket or chair and come join us on the Stonington Commons green!

Cancellations: If it looks like inclement weather on the day of the concert, we will make the call to move indoors by noon and update our website event page accordingly.
Parking: The North Lot at Stonington Commons at 32 Water Street will be available until it is full. Parking in Stonington Borough in the summer can be a challenge. Residents of Stonington Borough are encouraged to walk. Additional tips can be found here.
Seating: We will open for seating at 5 p.m. Please bring your own lawn chairs or blankets, as none will be provided.
No dogs are allowed on the Stonington Commons Green.
Food and Drink: Please feel free to bring your own food, but not your own liquor. Trash cans will be available on the perimeter of the green for your use.
Restrooms: Restrooms are available inside La Grua Center.
Running Time: Each concert will last approximately one hour, with no intermission.
