Institutional memory is the soul of any organization—the future hopeful imaginings of its founders, and that intention is vital to keep alive in our hearts as generations go by. Beloved Stonington couple Maurice and Winifred La Grua’s vision of an inclusive community gathering space endures 15 years on, and we’re so pleased to keep their memory alive with this exhibit honoring their legacy. Come learn about La Grua Center’s founders with a retrospective display of images, memorabilia, and remembrances from the Stonington Historical society, the local community, and our own archive.
Exhibit opening Friday, November 3rd from 5-7pm. Suggested donation $5.
Gallery hours are on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday afternoons from 1-4pm. Hours are occasionally subject to change. Please call ahead. Exhibit on display until the first week of January 2024.
