Nakai Northup on the Pequot Museum's "Our Moons" Exhibit

Nakai Northup discusses the Pequot Museum’s exhibit, the Kunâhneepamuhshâtunônak, “Our Moons.” Bringing together Pequot and Sister Nation Artists, Our Moons illustrates who the Pequots are as a people and the importance of Indigenous relationships. This program will discuss the Indigenous teachings of how the cycles of the moon have continually provided guidance and support for the original people of the Northeast through visual articulation of the language we call art.

This exhibit re-opens at the Pequot Museum in the spring.
