The Wrigley Building: The Making of an Icon

An illustrated presentation by the authors on the history and architecture of Chicago’s most famous building, followed by Q&A.

At the heart of this narrative are the intertwined stories of William Wrigley Jr., the larger-than-life founder of the chewing gum empire, and the relatively unknown architect Charles Gerhard Beersman, who together brought the building to life.

This event is in loving memory of Charles’ daughter, the late Diane Beersman MacFadyen, and is hosted by his granddaughter, Diane de Mailly, both of Stonington.
