Concert on the Green: Mozart for Munchkins ~ At the Movies!
Event Details
Children and families will march to the Imperial March, wave their wands to Hedwig’s Theme, and jump into the world of video game music, all while experiencing the excitement of live instruments up close. Kids are encouraged to sing along, dance, and interact with the music, making this a truly immersive, engaging, and playful concert experience.
Whether you’re a young Jedi, an aspiring wizard, or a Mario Kart champion, this concert is for anyone who loves music, movies, and adventure!
All ages welcome—costumes encouraged, clapping and singing along highly recommended!
This concert is FREE.
Please read the information below to understand what policies will be in place for the concert.
Cancellations: If it looks like inclement weather on the day of the concert, we will make the call to move indoors by noon and update our website event page accordingly.
Parking: The North Lot at Stonington Commons at 32 Water Street will be available until it is full. Parking in Stonington Borough in the summer can be a challenge. Residents of Stonington Borough are encouraged to walk. Additional tips can be found here.
Seating: We will open for seating at 5 p.m. Please bring your own lawn chairs or blankets, as none will be provided.
No dogs are allowed on the Stonington Commons Green.
Food and Drink: Please feel free to bring your own food, but not your own liquor. Trash cans will be available on the perimeter of the green for your use.
Restrooms: Restrooms are available inside La Grua Center.
Running Time: Each concert will last approximately one hour, with no intermission.
