Violinist & Stonington native Hilary Castle brings superb NY colleagues for chamber repertoire of Haydn, Higdon, and Beethoven to La Grua Center. This time, the three of them will indulge us with Haydn’s brisk, engaging Gypsy trio and the most accessible of Beethoven’s piano trios, the Ghost. Contemporary composer Jennifer Higdon’s evocatively textured Pale Yellow, a compact, fetching movement, will provide tuneful contrast to its Classical-era cousins. You’ll also hear our popular Mason & Hamlin grand piano, aglow and lyrical in the wake of its recent restoration.

Tickets $20. 

Seating is not reserved; all seating is first come, first served.  Doors open 1/2 hour before the start of the event. Please note, you do not have to bring a paper ticket to the event; simply give your name to the attendant at the door.
